Music on the wall - by Subinay Malhotra
An unusual, modern yet elegant futuristic concept of an iPhone dock couldn’t be better being a wall mount. An incredible product released for one and only ‘The iPhone’. Minimalistic in itself, this product is for the music lover who likes music on the go. A wall mount masterpiece that plays music and can also be used as a night lamp serves the purpose in itself. Another proposal being wireless and a wall mount, a functional product for the iPhone and the iPod.
Material proposed for the concept includes PA6 (Ultramid polyamide) that is known for high impact resistance. Toughness, near-zero moisture absorption, excellent chemical resistance, electrical chemical resistance, electrical insulating properties, low coefficient of friction, and ease of processing characterize polyethylene plastic.
If Apple says: “IF YOU DON’T HAVE AN IPHONE, YOU DON’T HAVE AN IPHONE!”
We should say:
“IF U HAVE AN IPHONE, THEN YOU NEED TO HAVE THIS DOCK!”

Vintage Ipod Dock
Inspired from the 1950's and 60's and specifically designing it for old people aging 65 years and above, a dock for an ipod has been produced by the student Rohit Kothari. It has aspects of both modern and vintage design. It is minimalist and clean, the product features a clock, a radio and obviously a dock. The materials used in building this product is wood. As there is use of no chemical, color or filler, it is intentionally kept natural to give it a vintage sense.
The design combines the present and the past in a way that helps the dock maintain the vintage beauty and the technology that is being used by the current generation.
